How to Program a Prince Castle Steamer
The Prince Castle Steamer is perfect for steaming buns, tortillas and other items quickly and efficiently. Better yet, you can program your Steamer unit to prepare various food products for a more streamlined experience. Learn how to program your Prince Castle Steamer with the easy-to-follow guide below.
This guide is for the Prince Castle 625-A&B Series Steamers.
Programming the Product Name and Water Cycle
- Step 1. Press and hold both the LOGO and PRODUCT buttons for 6 seconds to pull up the display. This will show what the current assigned product is for the PRODUCT button pressed. A decimal point will show up and flash in the right side of the display, indicating you’re now in Programming Mode.
- Step 2. Using the Up and Down arrow buttons, scroll through the product options. When you’ve found the option you need, press the LOGO button to save the new product name.
- Step 3. If you need to add a custom product name for your product, hold the LOGO button, then hold the Steamer Logo button for 6 seconds to use this programming mode.
- Step 4. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to change the left-most character, and press the Product 1 and Product 4 buttons to move the cursor to the next character in the product name. Repeat for each character until you’ve completed the product name, then press the Steamer Logo button to save the new name.
- Step 5. Once you’ve entered and saved the product name, the display will now show the product’s water valve ON time in seconds.
- Step 6. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to adjust the valve ON time, then press the Steamer Logo button to save the new time.
- Step 7. Once you’ve adjusted the water valve ON time, the display will then show the water valve OFF time.
- Step 8. Repeat Step 6 to adjust and save the water valve OFF time.
- Step 9. The display will now show the times for both the water valve ON and OFF cycles.
- Step 10. You can now change the amount of water cycles. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to adjust the amount of cycles, and save it by pressing the Steamer Logo button.
- Step 11. The display will now show the current product set temperature.
- Step 12. You can set the temperature between 265° F-350° F (129° C-176° C) by using the Up and Down arrows to select. Press the Rapid Steamer button to save the temperature setting
- Step 13. The display will now show the time delay, which is the time between when the product finishes and the alarm sounds. This time delay can be set between 0.0-10.0 seconds. Use the Up and Down arrows to set the delay time, then press the Rapid Steamer Logo button to save it. This will also exit the Programming mode.
