• What is Parts In Town?

  Parts In Town is our newest innovation which supports local service companies and distributors. When major “uh-oh” moments happen, customers can find genuine OEM parts the same day. Shop partstown.ca, choose Parts In Town, get real parts even faster!

• How does Parts In Town work?

  Trusted local service companies and distributors have the option to list their genuine OEM inventory on partstown.ca for same day pickup.

• How do I know if I can choose to pick up a part?

  When shopping on partstown.ca, look for the Parts In Town logo. It will look like this:

  

• Why aren’t all parts available for pickup?

  Although Parts Town has the most in-stock parts on the planet, local service companies and distributors don’t have the space to carry all that inventory. The good news is, you can find commonly needed parts and they’re all genuine OEM! Don’t forget, you can always have parts shipped to you.

• How do I know when my part is ready for pickup?

  After you place your order, we will verify with the pickup location that your part is indeed available. That will usually take an hour or less. We’ll send you an email confirmation to let you know your order is ready, including the pickup location and closing time.

• What should I bring with me when I pick up my order?

  Please have a copy of your order confirmation either printed out or on your phone or tablet. Having all of that info handy will help to move the process along quickly, but rest assured, the pickup location will be expecting you.

• My order was cancelled – what happened?

  We’re sorry that happened. Although we do everything we can to make sure sellers' inventories are up-to-date, sometimes things just don’t go the way we planned. Your order was cancelled because either the seller didn’t have the part you ordered available for pickup or because the seller didn’t respond within the hour timeframe.

  The good news is you can visit us again at partstown.ca to either find another local pickup location through Parts In Town, or you can place an order to have your part shipped by Parts Town. Need a little help? Call our Magic Makers at 800.239.5152.

• What if I need to return my Parts In Town order?

  If you need to return a part you purchased with the Parts In Town option, you need to return it to the seller’s pickup location. Their contact info can be found on your order confirmation, notification email, invoice or within your Order History.

• Why is the Parts In Town price different than My Price?

  Parts In Town prices are set by each seller for same day pickup. When shopping, you’ll see all of your delivery options, including shipping from Parts Town. Choose what’s best for you.

  

• How come Parts In Town isn’t available on a certain part anymore?

  The item you’re looking at may not be available for same day pickup due to lack of local inventory or because of seller operating hours. You can always place an order on partstown.ca for shipment.

• Can I place my Parts In Town order via phone, email or EDI?

  Parts In Town orders can only be placed on partstown.ca. This is the only way we can guarantee accurate inventory and pricing. Sellers provide inventory and pricing statuses that are regularly updated on partstown.ca.

• Is Parts In Town available in the U.S. or outside of Canada?

  Yes, Parts in Town is currently available in Canada. You can find this on the Parts Town website. We’ll be adding additional sellers and locations soon. We’ll keep you posted.

• How do you choose your Parts In Town partners/sellers?

  Our sellers are carefully chosen. We want them to be able to provide the same great service you’ve come to rely upon from Parts Town.

• How do I become a Parts In Town seller?

• When will Parts In Town come to my area?

  We are actively working on bringing more partners on board. Make sure to check back soon as more local inventory is made available!

• Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable? I’m never sure.

  That’s a great question! Because tomatoes contain seeds, they are considered a fruit, but most people use them as a vegetable. Bottom line: you do you!
