Bizerba Scale Error Codes: NCR 7870
These troubleshooting and error codes correspond to Bizerba NCR 7870 model scale.
Issue | Cause | Solution |
Error Code 5 | The scale has drifted | - Double check there is nothing on the scale
- Remove any objects that have lodged underneath the top plate
- Push Reset/Scale Zero button
- Turn the unit off and on
- If the error code persists, please contact an authorized service agent

Error Code 4 | There is a possible error | Press the Zero button. If error priests, please contact an authorized service technician
|
Error Code 4 (during calibration) | The scale experienced movement or vibration during its calibration | Recalibrate your scale on a stable surface, ensuring you don’t bump or move the scale while weights are present

Blank Display | The top plate is stuck | - Check that the top plate and checkstand don’t hit any external objects during the operation
- Remove any objects that have lodged underneath the top plate
- Push the reset/scale button
