A clean oven means you can cook without worrying about residue or debris ruining your current dish. You’ll be able to skip dirty ovens and get yours clean when you follow along with our guide below. We will go over how to clean a TurboChef PLEXOR oven in detail, so you can get it prepared for your next culinary creation.

How to Clean a TurboChef PLEXOR Oven

Cleaning the oven on a daily basis is essential to keep it performing well.

  • Step 1 - Turn off all of the modules and wait for the unit to cool down.
  • Step 2 - Remove the cooking racks and doors from every module.
  • Step 3 - Carefully remove the jetplates from the impingement and convection modules.
  • Step 4 - Using TurboChef oven cleaner, spray the cooking racks, doors and jetplates. Let that sit before using a nylon scrub pad to clean them.
  • Step 5 - Rinse and dry the cooking racks, doors and jetplates with separate cloths.
  • Step 6 - Remove all of the air filters from the unit.
  • Step 7 - Rinse the air filters with warm water and allow them to air dry. It’s important to not reinstall the air filters until they’re fully dry.
  • Step 8 - With a nylon scrub pad and TurboChef oven cleaner, clean the top, bottom and sides of the interior and the oven sleighs. Don’t spray cleaner into the oven cavity or wipe the elements.
  • Step 9 - Rinse and dry the interior and sleighs with separate cloths. Make sure not to get water in the holes or on the elements.
  • Step 10 - Reinstall the air filters, jetplates, doors and cooking racks in the reverse order they were removed.
  • Step 11 - Use a damp cloth to clean the oven exterior.
  • Step 12 - Lock the oven screen and clean it with a damp cloth.
