How to Operate the User Interface on a Merrychef eikon e2s Oven
The Merrychef eikon® e2s series of ovens are versatile units that can quickly and efficiently prepare food products, while taking up minimal counter space. Not only that, but their user interface is easy-to-use, allowing the operator to evenly prepare various dishes. Merrychef eikon® e2s Classic User Interface Overview in “Quick Serve Mode”

- First, turn on the oven to pull up the user interface screen.
- The oven will begin to preheat to the preset cooking temperature. This function can be cancelled if necessary by pressing the red “X”.
- The user interface consists of three main tabs:
- The “Favorite” icon, represented by an open book with a star. This contains an individual selection of frequently used cooking profiles.
- The “Cookbook” icon, represented by a bundle of papers with a paperclip. This contains a number of cooking categories and related cooking profiles to use. The “Cookbook” also features a number of cooking categories that can be accessed by using the up and down arrows to get to each page.
- The “All Menus” icon, represented by a stack of lined paper. This contains all cooking profiles stored within the system.
- Various cooking profiles can also be selected depending on the menu item, meaning that each dish or batch placed in the e2s Classic can be further customized.
- Cool down the e2s Classic oven by pressing the blue thermometer.
