Cleaning a Star Jetstar Popcorn Machine
- Step 1—Remove any remaining product and discard. Allow the popcorn machine to cool down until it’s warm, but not hot. Remove the clear, plastic guard for easier cleaning.
- Step 2—While it’s still warm, take a clean cloth and wipe down the interior and exterior, including the tray. Make sure to wipe away any leftover oil, salt and seasoning.
- Step 3—Turn the kettle OFF and let it cool down before removing it.
- Step 4—Once the kettle has cooled down, remove it for easier cleaning. Disconnect the twist lock cap, then turn the handle 90 degrees clockwise. Remove the hitch pin clip then, while holding the kettle, pull out the hinge pin.
- Step 5—With a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner, clean the fully-cooled kettle.
- NOTE—Never submerge the kettle in water or let water come in contact with the heating element.
- Step 6—Clean clear glass and plastic portions of the machine with a clean, damp cloth and a warm, mild soap solution. Rinse with a clean, wet cloth.
- Step 7—When all components have completely dried, reassemble the kettle.
