Power Soak Logo—Power Soak Sink Troubleshooting

The Power Soak warewashers help make cleaning dishes easier by streamlining the process. Because of this, if there are any hiccups or issues during a cycle, it needs to be solved fast. Learn how to troubleshoot a Power Soak Sink unit in the below guide, which covers models PS-200 and PS-201.

LED Status Light are Illuminated

Check the status of the system with one of the three LED Status lights, located on the Control Panel Overlay. The Status Light will illuminate to different colors depending on what stage the unit is currently in during the warewashing process.

LED Light Status Color

Meaning

Green Light

  • Slow Flashing—"POWER ON" (system is ready to fill)
  • Solid Illumination—"READY" (the wash sink is full and system is ready)

Blue Light

  • Solid Illumination—"CHANGE WASH WATER" (wash sink must be emptied after 4-hour cycle)

Red Light

  • Slow Flashing—"FILL SANITIZER TANK" (sanitizer tank needs to be filled to waterline)
  • Solid Illumination—"CHANGE SANITIZE SOLUTION" (drain and refill sanitizer tank every 2 hours)

Wash Pump or Heater Will Not Operate

If an issue occurs with the wash pump or heater that does not correlate with the LED Status color codes, there may be another cause contributing to the issue. Check for problems like:

  • Main electrical power breaker isn’t in the “ON” position
  • Wash sink isn’t fully filled
  • Liquid level sensors need to be cleaned of debris or grease
