How to Set the Temperature on Traulsen Refrigeration Units
Traulsen refrigeration units offer commercial foodservice spaces a way to keep their food products chilled or frozen. To ensure your products stay at a safe temperature, you’ll need to set it properly. Learn how to adjust the temperature setting on your Traulsen refrigeration unit with the guide below.
This guide is applicable for Traulsen G-Series units, including G10000, G20010, G22010 and more.
Adjusting the Set Point Temperature
- Step 1—Enter the customer password to access the Main Display. Quickly press the Unlock Key twice to unlock the keypad and wait for the Keypad Unlock LED to light up.
- Step 2—Press the Enter Key to access the Menu System.
- Step 3—Press the Plus Key and Minus Key to scroll through the menu options until you reach Settings (“SEt”). Select by pressing the Enter Key.
- Step 4—Press the Plus Key to scroll through the Setting options until you reach the Set Point (“SP”) option. Press the Enter Key to select the SP submenu to begin editing.
- Step 5—Press the Modify Key to begin adjusting the temperature setting. The value will flash, indicating it’s ready to be changed.
- Step 6—Once the value begins to flash, change the setting using the Plus or Minus keys. The Plus Key increases the temperature setting while the Minus Key decreases it. Confirm each setting by pressing the Enter Key.
- Step 7—When completely finished with setting the desired temperature, press the Enter Key.
- NOTE—If needed, you can press the Esc Key to fully stop the setting editing portion.
