Cres Cor Warmer Troubleshooting
Food not getting warm enough? If you’re experiencing issues with your Cres Cor warmer, try some of our troubleshooting tips. First check that the unit is plugged in, that the thermostat is at the proper temperature and if the circuit breaker to the wall outlet isn’t blown. Low Humidity
If there isn’t enough humidity in your warmer, check the following problems and solutions to resolve the issue:
- Water in the pan is low - Add water
- Thermostat is set too low - Turn up the thermostat
Cabinet Won’t Heat
If you’re experiencing a heating issue, there could be a number of causes. Below are some of the potentially faulty parts that could be causing the warmer to not heat correctly. Each will need to be replaced by a service technician.
- Fuse
- Control
- Sensor
- Heater contactor
- On/Off switch
Blowers Won’t Work
If the blowers aren’t working correctly in your Cres Cor warmer one of the following parts might be broken or damaged. An authorized tech will need to replace those parts.
- On/Off switch
- Fuse
- Blower
- Control
Heaters Won’t Shut Off
The heater not turning off could be caused by a broken thermostat or the contactor. To resolve this, you’ll need new parts installed by a service technician.
Vent Fan Doesn’t Work
Vent fan malfunction can be caused by various faulty components that will need to be repaired by an authorized technician:
- Fuse
- Defective vent fan switch
- Defective vent fan
Vent Fan Won’t Shut Off
If you notice the vent fan won’t shut off, you either have a defective vent fan switch that will need to be replaced by an authorized technician. If the control compartment is still hot, wait until it’s cool and check if it’s working. If not, contact a technician to check the thermostat or contactor.
